How and When to Use Dr. Ellie's Complete Mouth Care System

Dr. Ellie’s Complete Mouth Care System is a DIY at-home program that includes a specific collection of commonly found oral care products for the protection and healing of adult teeth when used precisely as recommended by Dr. Ellie without alterations or substitutions. These products work synergistically and in harmony to:

• balance mouth biochemistry
• improve oral health, and
• leave teeth noticeably cleaner and gums happier.

Dr. Ellie recommends using the Complete Mouth Care System kit in the morning (at whatever time works best with your morning and breakfast routine) and in the evening immediately prior to bedtime.

Step 1

Pre-rinse with CloSYS®

CloSYS® will prepare your teeth for safe brushing by neutralizing your mouth pH first.

1. Rinse for 1 minute.
2. Focus on gently holding the rinse on any areas that you know have particular problems.

Tip: Do not add the flavoring that  comes with the CLOSYS® rinse.

Step 2

Crest® Cavity Protection Regular Paste (Plus) contains the active ingredient sodium fluoride at an optimal concentration.

1. Brush with Crest® Cavity Protection Regular Paste for about 2 minutes.
2. Focus on brushing your gums around teeth to stimulate a good blood flow. Do this on the inside and outside of every tooth.
3. Allow your toothbrush to dry for 24 hours to kill bacteria

Tip: Use one toothbrush in the morning and a different toothbrush in the evening.

Step 3

LISTERINE® is an effective rinse that targets unwanted bacteria that cause plaque build-up.

2 acceptable flavors: Original and Cool Mint

1. Rinse vigorously for 30-60 seconds.
2. Focus on letting LISTERINE® do your “flossing” by swishing it between your teeth and places where bacteria hide.

Tip: If the LISTERINE® is too strong, rinse for a short amount of time until your oral microbiome adjusts.

Step 4

ACT® Anticavity Rinse is a very dilute, but particularly effective, sodium fluoride solution. Using it directly after LISTERINE® increases the effectiveness of ACT®.

3 acceptable flavors: mint, cinnamon, or bubblegum

1. Rinse for 1 minute.
2. Do not eat or drink for 30-90 minutes.
