About Mint Ingredients

Natural Flavors: Derived from non-GMO plants. Zellie's does not use artificial flavors.
Citric Acid / Malic Acid (Cool Fruit Mints): Sourced from non-GMO plants, used in very small quantity, and does not interfere with xylitol's pH-balancing benefits. NOTE: The pH of the raw materials in the Cool Fruit Mints does not impact the pH of saliva. Additionally, these ingredients do not stop the xylitol from doing its other job in the mouth -- feeding the good bacteria and helping to inactivate the plaque-causing bacteria.
Natural Menthol (Cool Mint and Cool Fruit Mints): Sourced from mint plants and used to create breath-freshening, cooling effect in the mints.
Magnesium Stearate: Sourced from non-GMO plant and mineral sources in the Netherlands. One mint contains less than 0.0044 grams. Aids in compression of xylitol in mint-pressing machine to maintain tablet form. About Gum Ingredients
Xylitol: 1.0 grams of xylitol in each piece.
Gum Base: BHT-free, premium blend of natural and food-grade polymers and waxes, formulated to meet strict international standards for food-grade products. Measures less than 0.3 grams in one piece of gum. For details about our gum base, please read Zellie's Gum Base
Natural Flavors: Derived from non-GMO plants. Zellie's does not use artificial flavors.
Gum Arabic: Sourced from the acacia tree. Used to help bind ingredients. Less than 0.02 grams in each piece.
Sunflower Lecithin: Derived from non-GMO sources. Used as an emulsifying agent. Zellie's does not use soy lecithin. Less than 0.02 grams in each piece.
Carnauba Wax: Derived from leaves of Brazilian carnauba palm plant. Used to coat gum, seal in the ingredients, and protect gum from humidity. Less than 0.02 grams in each piece.
Tocopherols (Vitamin E): Used as antioxidant/stabilizer, which allows us to stay away from preservatives like BHT. Less than 0.02 grams in each piece.
